Eight miles west of Cloverdale on Hwy 101, two fully appointed rustic cottages offer both a relaxing retreat and a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding wine regions. The cottages are nestled beneath an ancient live oak with dramatic hillside vistas that beckon westward to the Mendocino coast. Hosts are Kurt Feichtmeir & Gerald Reis, association members.

On the coast in Point Arena, convenient to Mendocino’s best wine regions, is where you’ll find this converted U.S. Life-Saving Station. You’re sure to enjoy a peaceful night followed by a full homemade breakfast when staying in one of its four rooms or two ocean-view cottages with fireplaces and whirlpool spas. Hosts are Mia & Kevin Gallagher, association members.
